Description

Copper alloy small long brooch with trapezoidal headplate decorated with double grooved lines around the perimeter and two rows of punchmarks; flat, semicircular side and top knobs. High-arched bow with rectangular section areas at top and bottom. Panel of trapezoidal cross-section below bow; foot decorated with two raised rectangular bosses. Flaring, crescentic foot; undecorated. Pin bar lug and broken catchplate present on reverse with remains of an iron pin.
