Large, iron ferrule from the end of a spear shaft. Long, narrow sub-cylindrical cone shape tapering to a pointed terminal at one end, and an open terminal at the other. Mineralised wood contained within socket. Heavily delaminating and corroded; fragments missing from socket terminal.
