Context (Analysis)
Some or all of 1894.11 B was reaccessioned as Z 21619 B at some point in its history, as confirmed by the presence of the bead with three projecting knobs. However, 1894.11 B does not give the total number of beads (only 'a number of glass and amber beads, including one with three rounded projections'). It is possible that Z 21619 B also includes some or all of another group of beads from Eriswell accessioned in 1894, 1894.107 D, described as eight amber beads and one glass bead. The decision was taken to retain the Z number as the main idno, and include the two accession numbers in the MAA numbers field.
