Accession No
1954.409 A.2-8
Description
Seven fragmentary iron objects. A.2 is possibly a fragment of a latchlifter and A.3 potentially an associated suspension device. A.4 is a straight piece of iron bar, square in cross-section. A.5 is a straight piece of iron bar, round in cross-section. A.6 is a flat piece of iron, bifurcated and extending into two arms; possibly part of A.2, 4 or 5. A.7 is flattened and bent close to the end at a 90° angle, possibly part of a pair of tweezers or another toilet implement. A.8 is the spatulate terminal of a toilet implement or other tool. It is possible that all these fragments belong to a set of implements suspended from a belt.
