Sarah-Jane Harknett descripyion for 1899.119[.1 A-G]: 'Found: 3 pieces of bronze tweezers, which fit together; ?part of a strap end/buckle: a plate of bronze with three perforations and incised decoration around the edge; also 3 fragments of a penannular brooch (unmarked).'

Copper alloy flat annular brooch with a pin hole. Decorated with three transverse grooves. Now in three fragments, broken through at the pin hole.

The Period for 1899.119.1 [A-G] was originally entered as '?Post Medieval'. However, the old display labels, as well as visual inspection, confirms that most or all of them are actually Anglo Saxon and the Period field has been updated accordingly.
