Bullroarer, consisting of a sub-rectangular wooden board with triangular serrations along the long edges. A length of fibre string is attached through a circular perforation at one end. The end with the string is trapezoid in shape with concave sides, the other end is flat.

Context (Amendments / updates)
In the accession register entry for Z 46382 A-B, the place of origin is listed as 'World Unprovenanced.' However, the shape and design of Z 46382 B is very similar to bullroarers from the British Isles, and particularly England, e.g. 1922.384, 1922.391. (See also the 1908 reference by A. C. Haddon). The place and production fields have been updated accordingly.
