Catalogue card for Z 29672[.1-.7]: 'Associated small finds from the Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Girton College: numerous fragments (from a bucket?) of sheet bronze, 2 buckles, large portion of sheet bronze with wood adhering (part of a bucket), fragments of iron with bronze rivets and discs. Also part of a small amber bead.'

Description (Physical description)
Copper alloy buckle. Elongated oval frame with loop of slightly convex cross-section, terminating in worn heads of an animal, whose mouths hold a straight cylindrical bar. Rectangular impression on loop’s outside edge for tip of pin; pin missing.
