Context (Amendments / updates)
The label found with the buckle plates Z 22584[.1-2] suggests that they belong to the 1888.30 St John's collection, but all of the buckle plates listed in the Accession Register under that idno are accounted for. This list is not exhaustive, however, and it possible that the wrist clasps came from the 1888 St John's Cricket Field excavation or the later Saxmeadham excavation.
