Context (Analysis)
Stored with 1888.30.889 was an iron rim possibly from a metal vessel. It bore a striking resemblance to 1888.30.885 D.1, the decision was taken to assign the two objects a shared accession number, the iron rim was given it's own record: 1888.30.885 D.2. Further analysis is required to determine if they are indeed from the same object.
