Description
Fragment of anthropomorphic red ware figurine, possibly handmade terracotta of a female. Ovoid head; applied hair or headdress with incised lines; headband with incised stippling; incised eyes with partial coffee-bean projection; projected nose and incised mouth; chin tapers to neck; expands at shoulders where there is breakage at the top of the arms; torso has applied circular breasts or nipples; perforation at mid-torso, possibly belly button; terminates with an irregular transverse break through waist. Fabric has a smooth surface and a buff core.
