Fox Collection. Number ' 83' in white and 'Hornsey' in black written on it . Another card catalogues a tranchet axe of "no provenance" regarded as being the same one. There duly is in the same bag as the Fox one another tranchet axe, similar, which only has the Z 31022 accession number written on it. So there are two axes, one the Fox one, one another perhaps at one time erroneously thought to be the Fox one - Christopher Chippindale, November 2000
