Context (Amendments / updates)
The Place field has been updated to query Asia due to the colour combinations and the use of silk. No direct parallels have been found in the collection but a lunghi from Myanmar, 2011.95, has a similar use of colour bands of varying widths. The function of this piece is unknown.
