Context (Amendments / updates)
Place field updated to Africa; Central Africa; Democratic Republic of the Congo due to similar weaving in other Kuba cloths, particularly the rectangles of negative space with the zig-zags across them and the star shaped applied fibre.

Description (Physical description)
Dark brown plant fibre hanging with small star patterns in natural fibre. Made from two rectangles joined together at the short sides; overall diamond pattern with open work rectangular sections that have zig-zags across them; strip of cane through one end; small cowrie shell attached to each corner.
