Context (Analysis)
Browne (1977): The decoration and form of this vessel are unique in this ware. They are very reminiscent of the Nene Valley so-called 'Hunt Cup' and it seems likely that this a rather crude south Fenland attempt to imitate products of the Nene Valley.
