Context (Amendments / updates)
There was another bow string attached with this object but it was clear that the string was from a different bow. A close examination revealed that '34.726' was written on it in black ink, therefor it was detached from 1925.814 B and returned to correct bow.

Description (Physical description)
1925.814 B: The bow string is twisted plant fibre. On the outside of the bow one half is more worn than the other. It appears rough and slightly splintered. There is a notch on one end of the bow, possibly to hold the string. On the other end there are carved shoulders (5cm from the tip) to hold the string in place and also a carved square decoration starting 12.3cm from the tip. The decoration is 3cm in length (W 2cm) and has three carved lines.
