Description (Physical description)
There are 2 basketry traps with this IDNO. Accession Register notes only 1 basketry trap, but the Thomas Catalogue has '2' added in pencil.
1) A small globular basket with narrow opening and a string handle. Found inside was a loop of vegetable fibre, a small bundle of dried leaves, scraps of feather and a short handled wooden spoon with a piece of plant fibre tied around the handle. Numbered 2296 on left of Thomas label.
2) A large globular basket with narrow opening and twisted plant material tied around neck. [R.Hand]
