Found with label reading ["text on exhib label"]: "Tama (Dama) / Wax votive offering. Prior to the Turkish invasion (1974) these offerings were used by both Greek Christians and Turkish Muslims. Purchased by weight. Left in church, then melted down by the church to be resold and recycled. Cypriot. Paphos, Cyprus. cxd Dr P.Sant Cassia."
