Description

Tenugui (手拭い). Rectangular towel (1) of woven fabric, probably cotton or linen, still in paper packaging (2). Towel with design in one corner of circle with two lines running through it diagonally, other end with square building with pointed roof with Japanese characters inside the building and above it. Paper wrapper with green and orange design with a red stripe through the middle, possibly a 'noshi' or bundled ribbons, printed Japanese characters in black and stamp with Japanese characters in red.
