Description (Physical description)
Red, orange and black lacquer box, with false bottom. Interior in black lacquer. Contains various artist's materials. Two palettes for grinding ink, one being smaller than the other. Four brushes, two with guards to protect the bristles. Two blocks of ink, one red with gold lettering and one black. Unidentified, hollow, metal object, with two small holes and raised pattern of waves and writing.

Water dropper, made of metal, possibly lead, with a dark green lacquered surface, which is peeling. The object has two small holes, with a raised pattern of waves and writing in a Chinese script.
