R: female on base. S: lion or dragon. T: man with cap. U: man seated, partly painted in red. V: man sitting. W: man holding fan. X: dragon

Description (Physical description)
Figure, carved from a convoluted tree root. This example shows a man with crossed legs, seated on top of a rock. The figure has a long beard, which extends down onto the chest, and is wearing a hat on his head. The facial features are clearly defined and the eyes appear to have been inlaid, with one missing. The surface appears to have been stained dark brown.
