Description (Physical description)
Ornament. One of twenty-one carved nuts in the forms of different men, including monks. This figure shows a man with a clean shaven face holding onto a shield or disc in both hands, with a single Chinese symbol positioned in the centre of the object. Small purpose made perforation in the base of the figure.
