Context (Related Documents)

Context (Amendments / updates)
This object is associated to different places. In the list produced by the MAN research team in 2006, the object recorded as MAN 54372 is given the provenance of 'Chelles, carrière Trioux (Seine-et-Marne)'. However, it is clearly marked like all the other objects associated to 'La Micoque' so this provenance has been retained in the Place field.

Context (Amendments / updates)
This object is not the one list on the original MAN list which states that the last object of the Micoque niveau supérieur series should be numbered '54371'. Although this object is numbered '54372', it bears all the markings that the rest of the series display (greek letter, pencil and ink inscription) and has been accessioned as part of the Z 25809 series. It is possible that the MAN did not send 54371 but 54372 instead.
