Context (Display)
One of several sherds from Hurst Fen on long term loan to Birmingham City Museum, now Birmingham Museums, until September 2014. They were on display with a label reading: 'Group of rim fragments of early Neolithic pottery from the settlement at Hurst Fen, Suffolk, showing different rims on pots whose lower parts were hemispherical. c. 3000-2500 B.C. Lent by Cambridge University.' However, it is not completely clear that this sherd is from Hurst Fen.
