Context (Found together / assemblage)
The bone comb and several silver Anglo Saxon objects were incorrectly assigned the accession number 2001.28, and have now been assigned TEMP numbers (TEMP.00944-TEMP.00949). As the comb shows signs of more modern conservation, and there are traces of perspex on some of the silver objects, it is possible that they had been taken to the conservation lab for work prior to 2001 and subsequently became disassociated from their original accession number or, in the case of the silver, the rest of their accession number. It is hoped that they can be matched up in the future.

Context (Other)
This is the type of silver ring that suspended a bead or similar, and may well have become disassociated from it's accession number. There are a few silver rings that have no location (1948.1339 A,1948.1339 B, 1953.189.11), but there may be other candidates.

Context (Amendments / updates)
This object was identified by Thomas Charles Lethbridge in his 1931 report as having been excavated from Burwell, Grave 121. As a result, the source has also been updated to reflect that the object was likely donated by the Cambridge Antiquarian Society. However, an accession number for this object has not been identified and thus remains identifiable by its temporary given number.
