Description (Physical description)
One of six postcards. This example is titled 'Charlatan: Mountebank'. Depicted is a man stood in front of a brazier with a silver object in his hand and a table behind him with a tea set upon it. In front of him are eight men sat on two benches, each with a long plait down their back, and brightly coloured robes. Single line of Chinese script in the top right corner. Hand painted with bright colours and highlighted with silver paint.
