Context (Field collection)
Tomb 144, no. 28. Vounous Site B. Excavated by James Stewart, British School at Athens, 1937-1938. The dromos had been destroyed by the chamber of Tomb 123 and Tomb 144 itself was partly destroyed. The disturbed nature of this tomb made it impossible to determine the number of burials present, though the size suggested a single skeleton.

Context (Other)
At some point, presumably prior to 1951, the spout became detached from the body and was assigned a collective Z number (Z 20943 [D]) along with other sherds when entering the MAA. The two parts of the vessel have now been reunited under 1951.1080 Q.
