Pedometer in brass and green shagreen case with hinged fob hook. The case is hinged, with an undecorated back connected by a left-hand side hinge to a front bevel decorated with brass studs and holding a domed glass cover with a flattened apex. A crown and penannular suspension loop protrude from the bottom, and a hinged ?bronze fob hook from the top. This fob hook is connected via a small chain to the internal mechanism, the swinging motion thereof operating the step counter when the user is walking.
