Hand-woven child's napkin. Produced from second hand textiles (full napkin cut to thirds) White weft threads with red, purple blue and green brocade design. Designs include x motif, hummingbird on corn plant motive, & large & small chevron motif. Probably woven by a learner or a child.

Previously used by a child. Unknown family. Child's napkin in the traditional style of a pocomchi woman's napkin in the communities surrounding Tactic in the Alta Verapaz of Guatemala. Non natural fibers. Mixed colours in motif work suggests that it was woven by a novice or learner using thread left over from other objects. Worn as headdress. Woven on backstrap loom.
