Description (Physical description)
Wooden printing block with twelve columns of text on one side, positioned next to, what appears to be, a building plan with numerous rooms and more text, possibly, labelling the rooms. On the reverse of the block are two more geometric patterns of interconnecting squares with numerous Chinese symbols along each of the lines. There is a central column of text in between these two patterns. There are numerous holes drilled into the surface on the two shorter ends of the blocks.

'Found in the box 50.B.2 China when cataloguing the other objects in this location. The object has long not had an accession number as the old box list states that it is a 'No Number; object, possibly collected by Sir Ellis Minns. The object has now been given a Temp. No. and given a proper location'.
