Description (Physical description)
Copper alloy, probably brass, prayer wheel. Attached is a wooden handle with a metal spike affixed to end that passes through the brass drum of the prayer wheel. The paper prayers are still found wrapped tightly within the prayer wheel, which is decorated with a repoussé design with the words 'Om Mani Padme Hum' written in Sanskrit. Weight attached to the side of the drum via a cotton cord, which would allow the drum to revolve. Between the drum and the handle is a bone disc, which is perforated in the centre allowing the spike to be inserted into it.
