Cf. London Museum Medieval Catalogue, especially Plate XXX, no. 30 - a Type V key from Fresh Wharf, London. Type V keys with 'lozenge'-shaped (i.e. rhomboidal) bows are particularly common in the 13th and 14th centuries. As such, the Period field has been updated from 'Medieval' to 'Medieval; ?13th century; ?14th century'.

Key with rhomboidal bow with protruding finials, sub-cylindrical pin shank with protruding toe, and a single bit cut with key wards, seemingly to both front and rear edges though this is unclear as the entire object is quite heavily corroded.

Found in bag of twenty objects (nineteen keys and one staff head) (1921.266.1, 1921.266.4, 1921.266.8, 1921.1081-1082, 1921.1085, 1921.1606, 1922.780 A-B, 1923.213.10, 1923.276.20, 1923.1137, 1923.1169 A.1-D, 1923.1203, 1924.654 A and 1948.1705-1706) with handwritten card reading: "NO PROV.", and on the reverse in a different hand: "Spur, Anglo-Saxon, 24"
