Description (Physical description)
One of nine fragments of red pottery wall tiles, all related to Buddhism. This tile depicts the lower legs and feet of, what appears to be, Buddha in the centre, flanked by two bodhisattvas. The two bodhisattvas are shown standing on top of lotus blossom pedestals, with the stems visible on the underside of the pedestals. The figures are wearing long flowing robes down to the ankles. Buddha is shown seated on a large lotus throne with the lower ends of the robes visible.
