Description (Physical description)
Woodblock print with a thick cream coloured border. This print depicts a bird from the underside, that is gripping onto a branch of a red leafed maple tree. The bird has dark blue plumage on the back, black feather on its head and white on its underside. The makers mark and seal are found in the lower right corner and there is a line of Kanji script along the lower edge of the print.
