Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu trimurti of 'Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu', who is shown as a three headed male, with three pairs of arms. In the hands are a chakra disc, a trident (trishula), a conch shell, brown beads, a wooden bowl and a walking staff. He wears a red textile wrapped around the waist and a red scarf and wooden sandals on the feet. There are numerous animals surrounding the figure including several black and brown dogs and Nandi the bull to the left of the print. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
