Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Lakshmi', who is shown being birthed from a pink lotus blossom in a large body of water. She is shown with four arms; the back two holding pink lotus blossoms and the front two bare, with the palms facing the viewer. In the background is a white elephant holding a flower garland in its trunk. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
