Z number allocated on 30 4 1987. The inscription on the back of one of the prints gives an incorrect identification, " Kamadeva..." . The Hindi inscription on front is " Shri Rama Chaindonja." Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Lakshmi', who is shown in the half lotus position on top of a lotus pedestal. She is depicted with four arms, two of which are holding pink lotus blossoms, and is shown wearing a red and green sari. She wears pearls around her neck and to the side of her headdress, which is mostly gold. Flanking her are two elephants that are holding lotus blossoms over her with their trunks. This scene is positioned within an elaborately decorated building with pillars and brightly coloured walls. Three plants positioned in front of the goddess. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
