Z number allocated on 30 4 1987. The inscription on the back of one of the prints gives an incorrect identification, " Kamadeva..." . The Hindi inscription on front is " Shri Rama Chaindonja." Twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Vide, " Gods of India" . The bottom of each page has a registration number, an inscription in Hindi and " Ravi Varma Press. Karla Lonavla."

Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Hanuman', who is shown with the tail and face of a monkey. He is shown kneeling on top of a woven ?basket, wearing a pair of gold trimmed, blue shorts with a red shawl around the neck. On his head he wears a bejewelled gold crown and holds a large club in his hands. He is seated before Ravana, who is shown with ten heads and ten arms and is seated on top of an elaborate gold throne with lion shaped arm rests. This is a scene from the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
