Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Krishna', who is shown playing his flute for the gopis or cow herders. He is shown with blue skin and is adorned with numerous jewels and ornament with a yellow textile around his waist. Dancing around him in a circle are a number of female and males, with a small stick in each hand that is touching the stick in the hand of the person next to them. In the background is a body of water in front of a temple and in the foreground of the print are two drummers. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
