Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Durga', who is shown riding on a lion, which is her vahana. She is depicted with eight arms, most of which are holding weapons including a club, trident, and sword. She is holding the hair and necklace of a man who is lunging at her with a sword. The lion is shown mauling a man on the ground and there is the beheaded body of a bull to the left of the print. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
