Z number allocated on 30 4 1987. The inscription on the back of one of the prints gives an incorrect identification, " Kamadeva..." . The Hindi inscription on front is " Shri Rama Chaindonja." Twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Vide, " Gods of India" . The bottom of each page has a registration number, an inscription in Hindi and " Ravi Varma Press. Karla Lonavla."

Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Vishnu', who is depicted riding on his vahana (vehicle) 'Garuda'. Garuda is shown with the wings and beak of an eagle, and is depicted much larger than Vishnu. In the p. right hand of Garuda is a hooded cobra and in the p. left hand is a golden club. Vishnu is shown wearing a gold textile wrapped around the waist with a green coloured shawl around the shoulders. In one hand he has a chakra disc and in the other is a golden club. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
