Description (Physical description)
Poster or printed page of the Hindu deity 'Parvati', who is depicted seated on a throne which is surrounded by large red curtains with gold ties. She is shown with four arms, which hold a pink lotus flower, a small knife, a red, folded ribbon. and a long plant stalk. She is adorned with a blue and red sari with arm, neck and ear ornaments adorning her. This print is one of twenty-three coloured glossy printed pages of deities from the text by Raja Ravi Varma, "Gods of India".
