Context (Analysis)
Cf. London Museum Medieval Catalogue, especially Plate XXIX no. 11 - a Type VI key from Cheapside, London. Type VI keys are reported to date from the 14th and 15th centuries, however given the lack of more secure identification for this particular key, the Period field has simply been filled as 'Medieval'.
