Description (Physical description)
One of two dolls, each a form of Japanese geisha. Small doll, dressed in grey kimono with broad stripes. She wears numerous underlayers ('Hiyoku') to the kimono, the most visible of which is dark purple with red spots on the surface. She wears sandals ('geta') and white socks ('tabi') on her feet. She wears a silk brown obi around her waist, which is decorated with flowers and swirls. She is positioned on a square, wooden block for stability.
