B: These sandals have flat leather soles, with a small metal heel, also flat, attached. They have a plain rush foot bed, and padded blue and white textile straps and toe hold.

Pair of sandals, which have flat leather soles, with a small metal heel, also flat, attached. They have a plain rush foot bed, and padded blue/green and white textile straps and toe hold. The leather soles would once have been bright red on colour.

Description (Physical description)
草履 Zori. Pair of sandals with plain, flat, rush footbeds and tanned leather soles that have a flat, semicircular, iron plate attached under the heel. The straps and toe holds are made of padded textile, covered with blue woven silk on the top, and white leather on the underside. The leather soles would once have been bright red. Worn by gentlemen.
