Context (Analysis)
Cf. London Museum Medieval Catalogue, especially Plate XXX no. 33 - a Type IV key from London Wall, London. However, the 'S'-shaped bit is also similar to other Post Medieval keys in this Museum's collections, e.g. 1907.202. As such, the Period field has been changed from 'Roman' to '?Medieval; ?Post Medieval'.

Key with circular bow, cylindrical pin shank narrowing slightly at terminus, and a single bit cut with large key wards to form an 'S'-shape, plus an additional five small key wards on the bottom edge and bullets on either side.
