Description

A rectangular plant fibre mat. It woven with stripes of black, brown, yellow and natural coloured fibres; there are two bands of birds within rectangles woven into the pattern, and two bands of cross hatch style patterns. There is a short, knotted fringing along the two short edges.

Description (Physical description)
Mat, made from woven plant fibre, which have been dyed black and varying shades of brown, with a buff background. Geometric patterns within the weave, which include diamonds and stylised birds. Slight fringing, consisting of the ends of the plant fibre knotted along the edge of the mat.
