Description
A rectangular plant fibre mat. It is woven with stripes of black, brown and natural coloured fibres, and four wide bands with a woven diamond pattern and over stitching in light coloured fibres. There is a short, knotted fringing along the two short edges.

Description (Physical description)
Mat, made from woven plant fibre, which have been dyed black and varying shades of brown, with a buff background. Geometric patterns within the weave, which include large 'X' symbols and alternating bands along the width. Slight fringing, consisting of the ends of the plant fibre knotted along the edge of the mat.
