Context (Amendments / updates)
The material held by the museum from Austin Friary has come in at various times and with different variations as to the Place field (i.e. Bene't Street, Peas Hill, etc.), especially as the site straddled different streets in Cambridge. In an attempt to clarify this, when it is possible to confirm that the material came from the Friary or more generally from the Examination School site, these have been added in addition to the existing Place information.

Context (Amendments / updates)
On 25 May 2017, Craig Cressford of the Cambridge Archaeological Unit examined material coming from the Austin Friary when it was excavated in the course of creating the Examination School in 1908-1910. He noted that his material dates to the 14th or 15th century, during the life of the Friary, and the Period field has been updated accordingly.
