This cow bell was found in a bag of similar bells (TEMP.00712-TEMP.00717) with a handwritten note reading 'NO PROV'.

Description (Physical description)
A cow bell made from a bent and riveted wrought iron sheet. The suspension loop is a solid tube, semicircular in form. An iron clapper is suspended inside by a loop screwed through the top of the bell.

Six apparently unaccessioned cow bells (TEMP.00712-TEMP.00717) were found together in the museum store. Some or all of them may have been accessioned and become disassociated with their museum number, or they may never have been formally accessioned into the museum's collection.
