Description (Physical description)
Small, cylindrical iron mortar, which ascends to a smaller, flat base. The mortar is decorated with inlaid silver stars, set within diamond shaped. There are two grooves underneath the rim of the bowl, with a small, square notch taken out of the rim. For the associated areca nut pounder see 1936.280 A.
